I've decided to raise money for Parkinson's UK not just because it's a worthwhile charity fighting a miserable disease but also because my father-in-law, Bob was diagnosed a couple of years ago and it seems the least I can do. 

I know 40 miles isn't going to make the Guinness Book of Records but for a fat bloke on a hybrid it's challenge enough!
