We research early diagnosis and treatments to beat pancreatic cancer.

Story

I'm Cycling 400 miles in 4 days across the South of England visiting 15 Boswells cafes along the way.

Both my father, Peter Bury, and one of my university housemates' father, Jeremy Burn, both died of Pancreatic cancer within 2 years of each other. Both died within months of being diagnosed.

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all cancers due to the difficulty in diagnosing and treating the disease early. Your sponsorship will help fund research vital to making progress against this unusually aggressive form of cancer.

Jeremy set up the Boswells cafe group which his sons now run and the plan is to travel from Newport to Gloucester on a 400 mile trip visiting every cafe on the way. The route will take us via Portsmouth, Reading and Oxford.

I would be hugely grateful for any sponsorship to help me reach my target!

Thanks

Jon

Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is the only national charity dedicated solely to beating pancreatic cancer through research. Survival rates are low, so new research is vital. In the past, this cancer received little attention. With your help, we can change this so more people beat pancreatic cancer.
