Recently, a friend's father passed away. He had been suffering from diabetes for a long time.

In memory of Michael, I would like to raise money and awareness for diabetes.

Around 3 million people in the UK suffer from diabetes. In addition, there is an estimated 700,000 who are believed to be suffering from this condition, but who have yet to be diagnosed.

Diabetes UK helps in a variety of ways: pioneering research, organising roadshows, organising events in particular for young people, as well as running a helpline to provide support.

It would be fantastic to reach my fundraising goal; I would appreciate your support in remembering Michael, as well as helping many people affected by this disease.
