It's been three years since I ran a half marathon and my daughter Hannah has talked me out of retirement to run the Bath half marathon on 6th March 2011. We are both running for the Alzheimer's Society which has particular family significance as Hannah's grandfather is an Alzheimer's sufferer.

 

I have started my training and it's really hard, especially in the cold dark winter. I tried to talk Hannah into a training camp in Florida but she is too busy in her final year at Bath University!

 

So anything you can donate, even a £1 will help give me the incentive to complete my training and the half marathon. This will really be my final half marathon unless Hannah beats me!
