Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Unfortunately my mum passed 6 years ago from Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. From diagnosis to passing it was 7 weeks, such is the devastating impact of this pernicious cancer, once finally detected. Though a cure for cancer is an imperative, my experience was one where you learned that palliative care is critical for people in mum's position where they are beyond a cure. Sue Ryder and other charities do an amazing job supporting patients and families on this trickiest of journeys. I'm indebted to them and hope in  a little way through fundraising I can help them to continue this support so appreciate any donation you can make.

Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition – they’re there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.
