At the beginning of the year my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. As you can imagine this has been an emotional time for me and my family, especially just after my stepdad, the father of my younger brother and sister and her husband had started his recovery from cancer himself.

Dandelion Time is a charity providing respite and support to families in need of escape and support from emotional trauma through open spaces, therapy and sympathetic guidance.

As it is close to my mums heart, we are planning to raise much needed funds to allow this worthwhile charity to grow and support other families in need of individually tailored help.

Here comes the fundraising part.......when the target hits £1500 George Tilbury and I will be clean shaving our heads at The Five Bells, where those who have continued to support me will be able to shave it for us!

At £6000 the land lady of the Five Bells, Sam Thomas will buzz her hair off too, also letting people get involved (and being able to donate the locks to charity also) all the while her husband James will be growing his hair and beard to shave off with her.
