Story
OTR (Over the rainbow) is an NHS sexual health clinic for the LGBT community in the Bournemouth area, it is under threat of being moved due to lack of funding, please help us raise some money to keep them (and my wife!) in the area as well as helping the LGBT community!
For 15 years, Over the Rainbow (OTR) has been a local and national beacon, recognised for its outstanding support, advocacy, and service provision to the LGBT community, and is widely known to be at the very heart of that community.
DCH provides information, advice and support to the fabulous LGBT community of Dorset. We provide a weekly sexual health clinic, host social support groups and provide teaching and training to raise awareness of our community. Our support reduces isolation and vulnerability and provides crucial healthcare support.
Cuts to funding have challenged the continuation of this service from its current premises and we are seeking £27,000 to cover the rent for the coming year.
We are working with Dorset County Hospital Charity to protect the service in the short term, while we work with the LGBT community and local commissioners to secure long term funding. Any funds that you are able to pledge will be gratefully received, and used for the benefit of our community.
