Story
On the 5th September I fly to Tanzania to take on the challenge of a lifetime. I'm climbing Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain in the world rising 19,341 feet over the plains of East Africa. Of those that attempt it, about 40% make it and I hope to be one of them. I'll be taking the Lemosho route and hope to reach the summit on September 12th! For those of you interested in learning a bit more about the mountain follow this link:

My aim is to raise money for a charity called Parkinson's UK. Parkinson's is very close to my heart as my father has suffered from this debilitating disease for many years.
Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition and one person in every 500 has it. That's about 120,000 people in the UK. Most people who get Parkinson's are aged 50 or over but younger people can get it too.
There's currently no cure for Parkinson's and we don't yet know why people get the condition. Learn more if you're interested at:

Finally, please note that I have privately funded this adventure so that every single £1 raised on this site will go directly to the charity.
Thank you so much for taking the time to to visit my JustGiving page it is hugely appreciated.
