**Thanks to everyone for their donations to this event - I completed the swim on Friday eve with 100's of other swimmers but more importantly have raised a great amount of money for a great charity.  I am awaiting on my final time but I think I came in on the hour mark. I have been a keen sea swimmer for several years and have wanted to do a longer competitive swim for some time now. The Huub Wales Swim is 2.4 miles with potentially 100's of people taking to the water off North Beach, Tenby. The event starts early evening Friday 11th July.

As a member of Rhoose Lifeguards Club I regularly compete in surf lifesaving and other events but these are generally shorter and faster swims and so a longer course has always appealed. Raising money on the way for Macmillan Cancer Support will make the swim all the more worthwhile. If you can please donate to this event and charity this would be greatly appreciated.
