I am taking part in the 2012 Bupa Great Birmingham Run - a 13.1 mile event on Sunday 21st October. I am running to help raise awareness and funds for Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, in memory of my nephew Marco, born an angel on 8th April 2009.

Sands support anyone affected by the death of a baby and promote research to reduce the loss of babies' lives. Just £30 could provide a bereaved family with dedicated telephone or email support, a bereavement support pack and a Sands Always Loved Never Forgotten memory box.

Any amount donated would be gratefully received.
