Thank you for taking a few moments to visit my charity page where I would to ask you to help me raise £1500 for Alzheimer's, the Thales Corporate Charity.

About Alzheimer's
Dementia describes a set of symptoms that may include memory loss and difficulties with thinking, problem-solving or language. Dementia is caused when the brain is damaged by diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease or a series of strokes. Alzheimer's Society work to help people retain their sense of identity and feelings of self-worth. 

I've done a few endurance events including the London Marathon and 3 Peaks Challenge. However is has been over 20yrs since I sat on a road bike and cycled more than 30 miles a day! So when I signed up, the endurance didn't worry me, but that small seat and hours sitting on it did! So I bought my road bike at the end of March and have been enjoying it ever since. Not sure about the lycra, but this is for charity after all!

I have promised the Sales team of Thales that they get to choose an item of clothing for me to wear on the ride - I'm regretting this, but again its all about charity. I'll update the site once this has been selected...!
