Story

Hey everyone.

I think this is the first time I’ve asked for sponsorship and I can pretty much guarantee it will be the last. (Just more of a donator rather than a doer)

Some of you will know that my family has been hit hard by Alzheimer’s and I wanted to do my bit to fund research and to help others affected by this disease.

Rather foolishly I have signed up to join a mass cycle ride covering the 54 miles from Clapham Common to Brighton Pier on the 15th of September which includes tackling the infamous Ditchling Beacon climb just outside Brighton.

Being a relative stranger to any form of planned exercise this represents quite a challenge for this particular 51yo blob.

My Dad loved his cycling and now he can’t ride himself it feels like this is the right event to take on as I know he would have enjoyed it.

Please sponsor me if you can.
Fortunately my work do matched giving so any donation will be doubled.

Thanks all.
