Event: Hamsterley Beast 2017, on 14 May 2017
The Hamsterley Beast has earned a reputation as one of the best mountain bike challenges around. Help raise money for the GNAAS and enjoy tackling the Hamsterley Forest.

Story

Relying the support of the public to survive, the Great North Air Ambulance Service flies three helicopters across the North-East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria.

They bring pioneering pre-hospital care to the scene, rescuing hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year, responding in April alone to 22 incidents, ranging from falls in or around the home, sporting injuries and road traffic accidents.

Im again, for the third year, riding 40 miles around Hamsterley Forest to help raise money for the GNAAS to ensure that the service is available should I, my family or friends need it!
