Story

I have signed up to sleep rough for the night on Thursday 21st October in Bristol to raise money for 1625 Independent People who Deloitte partnered with to help support the younger homeless in the South West.

As the Deloitte Corporate Social Responsibility Lead for the South West, I have been involved with the charity since we partnered with them in 2016. 1625IP are a Bristol charity based in Old Market who have been tackling homelessness for over 20 years, aiming to stop the causes of homelessness as well as supporting those who are already homeless. The charity provides supported housing for young people without a place to stay and aim to transition them into work and education through a program that can last anywhere from a few months to a longer term partnership over a number of years.

As we hit the colder weather this week, have you ever thought what it must be like to be on the streets? Please help support tackling youth homelessness in Bristol and donate whatever you can.
