Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Parkinsons is a disease that is very close to Rhys and I, his dad sadly died from it after a hard fought battle and lots of care, love and support from his family and friends. Running the Cardiff half marathon again is my way of remembering Gwynn and with your help raising much needed funds to aid research and help other suffering from this condition. Cynthia, Rhys's mam very kindly asked friends and family to donate to the charity instead of receiving gifts on her 80th birthday in May and anything you can do to help raise even more will be greatly appreciated.
So it is just under one week away and the training is still on hold due to a hip injury but I am having weekly acupuncture and it seems to be doing wonders. I just need to shake the cold off and I am there!
I am hoping for a finish on Sunday, no great times expected but even it takes me all day I will get round.
Thank you so much for donating and for a cause that is very close to my heart.
I will let you know how it all goes, Best Wishes Jo x
