Story
I love nature, we all can benefit for being in nature and it needs us. Plus it’s great for your mental health too.
Last year, I walked 850 miles from Clevedon onto the South-West Coastal Path. It was an amazing experience, walking predominantly solo, with my rucksack and tent and totally at one with the surroundings. I loved the people I met, camping on the cliffs snd beaches and hearing the birds and waves crashing
So this led me to walk the Welsh Coast starting where I started last year at Clevedon and heading to Chepstow following the Wales coastline to Chester. Again I’ll be walking with my rucksack and tent.
I’m fortunate that I run a business which I can work from anywhere and allows me the time freedom to follow my passion and goals. And the company I work with, UW, will double west I raise.
However, I was able to enjoy this because of the work which the wildlife trusts and other charities have done to ensure the environment is clean and provide a great habitat for the wildlife and marine animals to flourish.
The Wildlife Trusts and our supporters are here to make the world wilder and make nature part of life, for everyone. We’re helping to make life better – for wildlife, for people and for future generations..
The Wildlife Trusts are calling for at least 30% of our land and sea to be connected and protected for nature’s recovery by 2030. Making more space for nature to become abundant once again will give our struggling wildlife the chance to recover and also restore beautiful wild places.
For us all to enjoy this, please give generously.
