Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.
Alexandra died at home aged 22 on 14th May 2005, having courageously battled with Melanoma Cancer for two years. Alexandra's dedication enthusiasm and passion enabled her to do her best at all times and even during the past months of her life she was still undemanding, never complaining and remained caring, supportive and polite to those around her. It was these qualities that touched the hearts of everyone that knew her, including the St francis Hospice staff, and the Hopice at home team who gave her excellent care. Their ongoing support enabled us to spend quality time with Alexandra during her remaining days. Alex had a wicked sense of humour and we will always remember her infectious laughter. For more on Alexandra look at her website www.alsphotoshop.com and www.moleaware.org Always determined to help others she was keen to raise money for charity and instructed her Dad John to run the London Marathon in her name, and that her best friends help with the fundraising and training. The training is very hard (it doesn't seem to get any easier) so it will be so rewarding to count on your support. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Saint Francis Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor us now! Many thanks for your support.
