Debs' Walk for St Michael’s Hospice (Hereford) is in memory of my wife, Debbie Roworth who passed away on the 17th March 2013 after a year long battle with cancer. St Michaels Hospice cared for Debs in such a wonderful way, all the staff are simply amazing with the care they provide. Debbie received great support during a very difficult time, a year when we were married.

Debs cared and loved so many and was cared for and loved by so many, a beautiful lady to say the least. So many of our lives were enriched by knowing Debbie, both family and friends. We want to raise money for this great cause and in memory of such a great lady.

Debs was my perfect partner and really was a very special and wonderful person.

I want to express my thanks especially to my son Jonathan who has organised this challenge and the work he has done so far and is continuing to do, we really do want to raise lots of money.

The Hospice are an independent charity of which all their services are given free of charge. It costs the Hospice over £12,000 per day (£4m a year) to provide these services, of which they rely on around 90% of their funding from the community.
