Story
In March 2021 I was supposed to go to Borneo to take part in a 100-mile ultramarathon to raise money for the Race for the Rainforest campaign, to enable Chester Zoo and their conservation partners in Borneo to create thriving rainforest habitat where wildlife can flourish.

Unfortunately Covid meant we had to postpone that adventure, but I'm still passionate about the project - to plant and maintain a 'wildlife corridor' across a former palm oil plantation, to reconnect two sections of a rainforest. So, I've set my own challenge!
Over the course of just under a month, I'm going to run a mountain marathon in Snowdonia; a road marathon in Chester; and a 54-mile ultramarathon in Yorkshire, for a total of 106 miles. Doing the three events in such a short space of time just makes the challenge all the harder for me!
25th September - Trail Events Snowdonia Trail Running Challenge 2021 (marathon)
3rd October - Chester Marathon (road marathon)
23rd October - Punk Panther Nidderdale Way ultramarathon (54-miles of trail running)
