Team Legion takes on The London Landmarks Half Marathon

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are both really looking forward to running the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2019.

This is John’s fourth half marathon but he is battling back to fitness after various injury problems last year. The aim is to complete the training programme and race rather than setting any heroic records.

Pippa has done two half marathons previously, finishing in just under two hours in Reims last October, so the target is to come in under that landmark (geddit?) time again.

This is the first time our schedules have allowed us to run the same half marathon! We’re still not really sure who these aliens are who have taken us over and turned us into runners...

With John’s history as an Army Reservist, we are delighted to raise money for the Royal British Legion and support the Armed Forces community.
