Story
Coronavirus has impacted all of us in so many ways. Unfortunately, it is particularly dangerous for Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. The available healthcare services in the region are limited and already severely overstretched. MAP is working alongside local partners, doing what they can to help in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon. But with your support, we can do more. Together2Palestine is an event aiming to virtually make it from the UK to Palestine by the 20th June; World Refugee Day. This is an event to symbolise unity and solidarity even when we cannot physically get together. The aim is, collectively, to cover the 2,190 miles from the UK to Palestine, between now and the 20th June, to show support for Palestinians and raise vital funds for MAP's work.
My personal target is to walk/cycle 150 miles between now and 20th June. To make it a bit more demanding, I'm only going to count miles I cover before 8.30 am each day! Those who know me will realise what a challenge that is, as I'm really not a morning person! But knowing what an important cause this is, and the wonderful work MAP does, will motivate me to get out of bed and get moving.
Thank you in advance for your encouragement and support.
