Story
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation.
There are 3 main reasons for running (or possibly hobbling) for the BHF.
• My cousin John Macloed died suddenly in March '23 from a heart attack, without any prior indicators, way too young.
• My father died of a heart attack also at the way-too-young age of 56.
• I am continuing to support the partnership of PureGym with the British Heart Foundation. https://www.puregym.com/british-heart-foundation.
Will have to do this with basically no training due to recurrent knee injuries and a recent bashed hip that means a couple of short hoppy jogs a couple of days before will have to do..and which have resulted in a pulled calf.. Haha! But have had important nutritional and injury advice ..so hoping a couple of snack bars, a bit of strapping and a positive outlook will do the job..
Time target: Anytime the same day.
Update! Finished hobbling but sprinting in 64 mins

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. Every pound helps so please give if you can. Thanks!
