Story

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of John Meyer. John passed away suddenly whilst at home on the morning of 26th January, at the age of 65.

A service will be held at Inverkip Church on Friday 5th February at 12.30 to which all are welcome. Refreshments will be available following the service, and we invite all to come and share their memories of John.

Whether professionally or through volunteering with various charitable organisations, John worked to improve the quality of others lives. We therefore ask that, in lieu of flowers, if you would like to give in his memory, please consider a donation.

John was a keen skier and for almost 20 years coordinated the West of Scotland division of a local club for disabled skiers, giving access to snowsports for all. Initially Scotlands Alternative Skiers, the club is now part of Disability Snowsport UK.

On behalf of DSUK, we thank you for your generosity.

Our deepest thanks to all those who have extended their support and sympathy.
