Story

Sarah and I have decided to raise money for The National Brain Appeal which aims to support people living with rare forms of dementia.

Frontotemporal dementias are a poorly understood form of degenerative disease which primarily affect behaviour and language. They account for less than 5% in total and don't benefit from Alzheimer's funding.

Sadly, our dad has been diagnosed with Primary progressive aphasia, a cruel disease which is robbing him of his reading, writing and language skills; as well as impacting on his memory.

We will be doing various challenges over the next year (COVID permitting) including triathlons, running challenges etc.

We would greatly appreciate your support for a charity that has given our family a lot of information regarding this rare illness.
