Please understand that jumping out of an aircraft at low level requires a level of dedication to attain a goal, and there could not be a better goal than to repay a debt to those who have served and need our support now!

On 16th August 2009 I will attend TEXEL Island the Dutch Military parachute training centre to complete the Dutch Military Parachute Course, as a member of the Combined Irish Regiments Old Comrades Association (ex-service). This course will require me to complete five low level parachute jumps from a height of 600metres using a static line military round canopy parachute.

On completion of the course I will qualify for the Dutch Military Jump Wings, with a Classification 'A'  parachute qualification.

I have never parachuted before, and may never do so again!!! But please help me in my aim for this cause!
