Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am raising money for The Pituitary Foundation , to see why scroll down.
UPDATE Finished in 01.16.45 so just under last year's time.
donate via text message by texting LALL77 £5 to 70070 to donate £5 for example (donations can be made in the following amounts : £1, £2 , £3, £5, £10 see www.justgiving.com/justtextgiving for more information on text donations).
The Pituitary Foundation is a support, information and advocacy organisation for pituitary patients, their families, friends and carers. The Foundation operates throughout the UK and Ireland.
Pituitary disorders are relatively uncommon, there are about 70,000 people suffering from eight main disorders as well as a number of even rarer ones (as a result of traumatic brain injury for example) accross the UK and Ireland. The rarity of these disorders makes diagnosis and treatment much more difficult, this is why the Pituitary Foundation's work is so important.
So put your hands in your pockets everybody and donate! The more the better, but even if it is only a couple of pounds, every penny counts and it all makes a big difference.
I will be taking part in the Shoreline Triathlon (sprint distance), Bude, Cornwall at 2.30 pm on Sunday 26th June 2011. I'm aiming to go faster than last years time of 1 hour 19 minutes, so only a short tea break in the transition this year.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
