Proud to announce our first official charity partnership in our 64 year history at John Jenkins & Son. We are delighted to support Scottish Huntington's Association as it is a charity that has impacted the life of a member of our team. It is a devastating disease and we hope we can do our bit in raising awareness and funds for this amazing charity.

The events our team will be partaking in will be ;                         Edinburgh Marathon and the marathon relay and a Munro climb challenge

Now that the Edinburgh marathon and relay marathon has passed we are now looking for sponsors for our Munro challenge. The challenge will be to carry a large steel plate weighing over 50kgs to the top of Ben Vorlich. This will be completed with a team of 20, where 5 groups of 4 will take turns working together to carry the plate to the top of the Munro. In order to raise more awareness for the charity we will be cutting their logo into the plate.

Scottish Huntington's Association (SHA) is the only charity in Scotland dedicated to supporting families impacted by HD.  SHA was established over 30 years ago by families and has grown into an extensive Scotland-wide network of HD specialists, specialist Youth Advisors and Financial Wellbeing Advisors.  The lifeline services SHA provides make the difference between families coping and not coping.  Their mission is to empower families living with Huntington’s disease, ensure they are better connected to support and services, enhance quality of life and raise awareness about the impact Huntington’s disease has on the people who live with the condition.
