Story
I wanted to join in with this challenge because we are all part of the human race and in this situation with coronavirus together. The difference though is that there are people who live with crisis their whole lives, who have no water or strong health systems or a steady income and we have to do what we can to help those in dire straits.
It’s not just the virus, climate change shows us too how we have to look after this earth and one another. It doesn’t matter where people are in the world, whether they are next door or far away, if they are desperately struggling, we who are more fortunate should help.
What I always feel is that what you give out you get back tenfold. When we care about other people, we benefit as well.
Love never fails. Coronavirus impacts us all, but love unites us all. For over 70 years, Christian Aid have been standing with the poorest of our neighbours, with people of all faiths and none, to stand up for dignity, equality and justice. Let's stand together this Christian Aid Week.
