Story

Sadly on the 21/08/2011 John Francis O'Neill passed away.

He was always the type of person who would rather give away what he had to help others who have little or nothing.

Never one to make a fuss he was the devout husband to Dorothy Ellen O'Neill and "Pops" to Andrew O'Neill, Helen O'Neill and David O'Neill

His biggest role in life though was GRANDAD to his 6 Grandaughters Josie, Emily, Molly, Maddie, Eleanor and Melanie

Pops was always a very practical man and would not want anyone mourning his death but prefers us all to celebrate his life.

Whilst a very keen gardener he expressed his wishes for us not to in his words "waste money on flowers" for his funeral.

As his family we have embraced that wish and the O'Neill's would love for anyone that wishes to show their affection for "Pops" please make a donation via this Just Giving page in his honour to The Beacon Centre for The Blind based in Wolverhampton.

The Beacon Centre currently give hours of pleasure and support to Pops Grandaughter Molly and nothing would please him more than to help others especially the Beacon Youth Club.

We all miss you and there will always be a "Pops" shaped hole in our hearts that will never be filled.

A Facebook page has also been set up for Pops
