Sheffield Half Marathon 2018 · 8 April 2018 ·

This years Master Cutler has picked Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice as his chosen charity for the challenge, helping to support local children with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions.

Story

I ran the Sheffield Half Marathon for the first time last year, I can't deny it was TOUGH but I was driven on by so many kind supporters & all the  kind donations I'd received for Motor Neurone Disease, which was a friend & colleagues chosen charity last year.

In a moment of madness, & most probably too much beer!  I promised Ken Cooke I would run it again on behalf of his nominated charity "Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice"  As a parent myself, it's inconceivable to imagine the pain & suffering that some families bravely endure. Bluebell Wood helps to give children & parents precious lasting memories, whether its supporting them in their own home or in the Hospice at North Anston.  Please help myself & Jamie, whom is also running the Half Marathon again with me (well he'll be somewhere in front!!!!) He took no persuading to help support this amazing charity.
