Story

Now that we are both retired and well into our 60's. We both have decided the best way to celebrate our 10 year anniversary of doing our first John O'Groats to Lands End (JOGLE) cycle ride is to do it again.

So on July 1st we will be heading north to Thurso by train and cycling the last 20 miles to John O'Groats to start the ride on July 2nd. Twelve days later and approximately 1000 miles we hope to have finished the ride safely at Lands End before catching the train back to Peterborough from Penzance

John has promised not to treat it as a race this time and Dave has promised to keep off the pavements 🤣. The only danger we both have is trying to keep out the coffee shops.

We will be totally unsupported carrying all our kit on our bikes and backs. We are covering all the expenses ourselves, so all donations will go directly to Help for Hero's

As we have previously been members of the Services, any amount that you are able to donate will be very much appreciated both by ourselves and the unfortunate individuals benefiting from the charity.

Every day, men and women have to leave their career in the Armed Forces as a result of physical or psychological wounds. Your contribution is going to make that journey a little bit easier.
