John Arnold is raising money for UNICEF UK

Story
As part of the 2023-24 Clipper Round the World Race, I will be taking part in Leg 8, sailing from the east to west coasts of Australia, around Tasmania and into the Roaring Forties! There are 12 teams competing and I will be on team Hannah. As part of the race, each team aims to raise a signifcant amount of funding to support UNICEF.
UNICEF relies entirely on voluntary contributions and donations. Its life-saving work is only possible through the generosity of its fundraisers. With help from the Clipper Race, UNICEF can make sure more children get the support they need to grow up happy, healthy, and safe.
UNICEF's five goal areas are:
- Every child grows up healthy & strong
- Every child learns
- Every child is protected from violence and exploitations
- Every child lives in a safe clean environment
- Every child has an equal chance.
- Its life-saving work is only possible through the generosity of its fundraisers. With help from the Clipper Race, UNICEF can make sure more children get the support they need to grow up happy, healthy, and safe.
