Story
In memory of John Bellis his family would love to raise money for the North West Air Ambulance Charity.
In 2010 John was attending to a tree on his farm when a freak accident occurred. Knocked down and stuck between a wall and a fallen branch, his wife, Alice went to get help.
After several unsuccessful attempts by the ambulance service and mountain rescue, he was eventually saved by the North West Air Ambulance Service.
Air lifted to a specialist department at Wythenshawe Hospital, he was lucky to leave with just 70 stitches in his face and was forever grateful of their response.
John always said he’d love a trip in a helicopter, this wasn’t what he had in mind…
