Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
On Sunday 29 June 2008 John Barff’s family and friends are taking part in the 110% Walk, a 5.5km walk in Bristol in aid of the Parkinson's Disease Society (PDS)
As many of you are aware Dad / John has had Parkinson's Disease for a considerable number of years. The PDS provides valuable help, support and advice for sufferers of this disease and their families or carers. Not only do they have endless ideas, contacts and optimism but they provide and fund vital specialist Parkinson's Disease Nurses and continue to research into the cause and treatments.
We are immensely thankful for the help and support we have received from all the professionals that have treated John; greatly improving his quality of life. The professionals would not have been able to do what they did without the PDS and their research. So we hope you will support the PDS and their work by sponsoring John and his family and friends taking part in the 110% Walk. Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for the Parkinson’s Disease Society.
