Story

In January 2023 Tracy and I will be embarking on a challenge like nothing we've ever done before.

We've done lots of charity runs over the years, we even did a Free Fall Parachute Jump from 15,000 feet but this is something very different!

Starting straight after Christmas, we will be participating in Bolton Hospices annual 'Strictly Learn to Dance' challenge.

Alongside other couples we will take 12 weeks of Ballroom Dancing lessons where we will need to learn 3 dance routines.

Then on Friday 31st March, in the Premier Suite at BWFC Unibolt Stadium, cheered on by a crowd  of 750 people we will be strutting our stuff in the competition Grand Finale.

Let us just say dancing isn't exactly our strong point, however we are full of enthusiasm for the cause and both hope to turn our two left feet into something resembling the Cha Cha.

We have seen for ourselves, first hand the amazing work all the staff at Bolton Hospice do for both patients and their families.  When you realise they rely on donations to stay operational it really does make you feel very humble. We can't thank the hospice enough for the help they gave us when we needed them, and we can only hope this challenge goes some way to showing them our appreciation for what they do.

We have set ourselves a fund raising target of £1,000 so please help encourage us by making a donation to a very worthy cause and why not buy some tickets for the Final and come down to support the event.

Thanks for reading. Wish us luck! 😀
