Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 13 September I'll be taking part in the San Francisco Triathlon.  It starts with a one-way ferry ride to Alcatraz Island, and includes a 1.5 mile swim back to the city, a 15 mile bike ride and a 10 mile run.

One recent development is the first sighting of a Great White Shark in San Francisco Bay in over 100 years.  This should help my swim time.

I'm going to be raising money for Leukaemia Research.  The disease killed my father (when he was just 38, my current age) and his twin brother / my uncle (when he was 64 and on the brink of retirement).  Although twenty five years separated their deaths, not much had changed in terms of their treatment or prognosis.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you.

Alex
