We fund research and provide support to anyone affected by breast cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Breast Cancer is the most common cancer suffered in the UK. 1 in every 8 women will suffer with breast cancer at some point in their lives. With statistics like these, it is evident just how much of a necessity a charity like Breakthrough Breast Cancer is in helping the fight against breast cancer.

Breakthrough Breast Cancer now funds more than 25% of the Breast Cancer research and aids research into the prevention, detection, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.

17 years ago when my sisters and I lost our mum and Dad his wife, through secondary cancer brought on by the primary breast cancer she suffered, finding a cure to the disease seemed like an impossibility.

17 years on, 5 in 6 women who suffer breast cancer now survive for 5 years or more. Progress is being made and families are being kept together.

Please donate all you can to help us help everyone in the fight against cancer.

We thank you sincerely in advance for all your support.
