Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Check out my backwater mullet!

After 31 years of running like some kind of Gump I’ve finally signed up to do the London Marathon. This is twice as far as I’ve ever run before. I’m doing it for my friend Ali who works for the Carers Trust, a brilliant charity that supports people who give up their jobs and personal lives to be unpaid Carers.

I do a lot of these type of events and don’t ever ask for sponsorship as I usually do it for myself. This time I’m doing it in recognition of the great work the Carers Trust does/Alison Mitchell’s face.

I’ll be running this thinking of my Grandad who got me running from 7 years old and loved the London Marathon.

I’m gonna aim to do this in sub 3 hours. It’s quite unlikely however, for every minute I do sub 3 I’ll pay £10 of my own money. For every minute I do over 3 hours I’m gonna sponsor myself £1 per minute. You can see how confident I am at sub 3 hours. Roo hoo hoo!
