I'm laughing because my wife and daughter asked me which challenge I am going to train for first. (Walking boots and helmet might be a clue!)

Yes I'm taking part in the Mexico bike ride in March '09 and then the Peru hike in May' 09. Don't ask me how this happened but I know I've set myself a rather large target both physically and financially. With your help I can achieve both targets.

This will be my sixth cycling challenge having cycled in India 1999, Costa Rica 2001, China 2003, Grand Canyon 2005 and Vietnam in 2007.

I decided this time to push myself a little more and take part in a trekking challenge!
