Deafblind Awareness Week 2021 will feature a host of exciting and fun challenges! Take part in our 34,000 step challenge, walk a step for every Deafblind person living in Scotland. Join us by wearing red and white, the colours of Deafblind Scotland. Or even dye your beard or hair red and white like DBS Participation Officer John, before going for the big shave after 12 months of growing! We'll host a mystery afternoon tea party for DbS members. We're encouraging our community to join in Knitting Us Together and create a red and white knitted banner to be displayed in our Learning and Development Centre. Deafblind Scotland Ambassador Elena Peres will host a live folk music performance online, we'll provide words to all the songs so everyone can join in this beautiful music event. We'll call on artists to join Drawing in the Dark. Check out how amazing your artwork is when blindfolded - you might surprise yourself!
