Martin House supports children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families, across West, North and East Yorkshire. Our vision is that every child and young person has access to palliative care when and where they need it. My nephew Scott is one these children who Martin House support. Scott has life limiting condition Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy which is a muscle wasting disease. Martin House have over the years helped my nephew and his family with day visits and over night stays so his mum and dad can spend some time to themselves and Scott's brothers. Martin also offer support for end of life care and for bereavement but can only continue this amazing service through donations. This charity is close to my heart so would appreciate any help you can give.
