We fund research, we campaign, we support - to fight for your right to breathe.

Story

John was diagnosed with Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) in 2021.This is a lung disease that causes progressive scarring of the lungs, and no one knows what causes it. Asthma + Lung UK (formerly known as the British Lung Foundation) are funding research into the causes of IPF, which will also help in the development of treatments for those living with the condition.

During his illness, John volunteered to participate in a medical drugs trial designed to test the effectiveness of an experimental treatment. Despite this taking a toll on his personal health, he continued for the full course of the trial in the knowledge that this work will benefit those who will be affected by IPF in the future.

We would like to do what we can to raise funds for further research in his memory.

Susan, Daniel and Tom
