Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I did it last year and I'm doing it again - I'm running a 10k race (that's 6.2 miles) around central London on 10th July.

I'm aiming to beat my time of 59 mins and 30 seconds from last year. However, I'm a whole year older and I'm now in a different class - Mens Veteran!

Last year I made over £250 for the poor bastards in Bhopal who are still being affected by the Union Carbide disaster back in the 80's. This is a brilliant charity that does great practical work to help these people. Having been to India this year I now have a bit of an inkling of what it's like to be very very poor and to have horrendous health problems.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

The Bhopal Medical Appeal funds two clinics giving free treatment to survivors of the 1984 Bhopal Disaster (the World’s worst industrial disaster). It also treats thousands of people who are being slowly poisoned by drinking water contaminated with chemicals never cleared-up from the disaster site.
