Story
On 11th November 2017 I'm going to be attempting the Tube Challenge. The aim is to travel through every tube station (270 in total) on the London Underground network in one day.
You might be thinking that this is easy - that it's just sitting around on a few trains. Well you'd be wrong! In addition to the tube journeys, I'll need to run at least 9 miles between a number of stations near the end of tube lines. The day will also involve over 60 changes between trains and a lot of running within stations themselves. It's also going to be an incredibly long day - the world record (which I doubt I'll get anywhere near) for visiting all 270 tube stations is just under 16 hours. Finally, almost anyone who has ever been on a tube will attest to the fact that they are not always pleasant spaces to inhabit for a short length of time, let alone all day!
