Some of you will know, many won’t, but I had to have surgery for throat cancer last year and it's exactly a year ago that I finished the treatment. The Radiotherapy went well, unfortunately for you it didn’t manage to stop me talking as much!! When I got the all clear following a scan in the summer I promised to do something for the Charity my daughter worked for, SPARKS, (www.sparks.org.uk) and given their sporting background I decided on a Grand Sports Raffle.

I wrote to all 92 Football League clubs and some generously donated gifts (including a trip round Anfield for four people). I also got a Signed Boxing Glove from the late, and great, Sir Henry Cooper, a Sir Jackie Stewart signed autobiography and an RBS six nations shirt signed by seven internationals including world cup winner Jason Leonard. Just so the girls don’t give up completely a friend also managed to get a signed Olly Murs CD!! There’s a full list below.

It’s open to everyone so if you know of anyone who might be interested in buying some tickets, feel free to tell them about this page.

Tickets are £1 each (a fiver will get you six!). So for every £1 you donate 1 ticket will be entered into the Raffle. In order that I can reach you, if you are a lucky winner please also put your mobile number on the site when donating. You can do this within the comments page.
