As some of you know, me and my family have had to deal with the wrath of dementia when it took the life of my dad and we had to see just how cruel the disease is and how it can destroy many lives.

Hopefully one day there will be a cure, I want to raise money to support the work to help find that cure to the disease to make sure other families won't have to go through what we have. Also raise money to support people who have to deal with the dreadful disease on a day to day basis.

To make the build up to the run harder, I'm going to stop drinking alcohol for 3 months, my family and friends will know how hard that is for me! Let's smash it!
