We live in the Bishops Stortford and Stansted areas and met at Bishops Stortford running club in 2016. Since then we have become firm friends running together 3 times a week and completing various challenges. John's 16 year old son Michael who has learning difficulties, is very well known in the local area and has been supported by a number of local charities including Grove Cottage. Michael has attended various clubs at Grove over the last 10 years and is currently at enthusiastic member of the Get Active sports club. Without the support of charities such as Grove, Michael would not have developed into the popular and confident young man he has become. Our latest challenge is to raise funds for Grove Cottage by Trekking up Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa to an altitude of 4,167 metres, from September 29-October 4 2022.
