Story
I decided to support this charity at the very last minute and this page was created on the 14th June 2010 and the walk is Saturday 20th June 2010 - so your hasty decision to support would be appreciated.
This is a gruelling 46 miles walk over Cambridgeshire starting at 04:00 am and must be completed by midnight. More details can be found on www.pathfindermarch.co.uk
We have a good friend of the family whose husband is suffering and is progressively getting worse as a result of Parkinson's - it is a terribly affliction and affects all those involved. So....
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

UPDATE: I completed the very painful walk on Saturday. We started walking at 04:00 am with 8 stops most less than 5 minutes and one 20 minute break (no more than 40 minutes in total ) to have blisters treated. We covered all sorts of terrain, road surface, grass, rough ground and loose hardcore. We finally arrived in at 21:30 after 17.5 hours of non-stop walking. The best bit of the day was to follow, a lovely leg massage from a young lady - BLISS !
So far I have raised over £350, thank you everyone who has donated.
BUT there is nothing stopping you making a donation now, it will make my walk all the more worth while - thanks
