Ladies and Gentlemen and those of you who have the good fortune to know me, I am about to attempt for the first time in my life to get in touch with my feminine side (not that i beleive i have one of course)

It seems only right and proper to mark this momentous occasion to do the lady like thing and beautify myself (not that i beleive i need any more beautyfying) so with the above in mind i have decided to do all of this in the name of 'Charity' and frequent a nail salon and have some 'nail art' done, and after many miles of searching, with map and compass in hand, (which i instructed one of my sergeants to assist me with!) I have managed to find a nail artist who can ....."wait for it"...paint my nails in the very feminine...DPM pattern, (for those of you who are not as Military minded, that is 'Camouflage') To up the ante somewhat, i will be sporting this look for the whole weekend camp at Queen Elizabeth Barracks, Strensall, in June 2011, and I may add in front of 160 plus Army Cadets and over 50 fellow officers and adult Instructors. The funds raised for this rather embarrassing stunt (not that I usually admit to any embarrassing stunts) are going to the very worthwhile 'Help for Heroes' so I would ask that you please give generously.There will of course be regular updates posted on Facebook of me sporting my wonderful nail art, in various locations, throughout the weekend (no body doubles required) just for you non-believers!
