Story

I'm taking part in the London Marathon this October to
raise money and help beat prostate cancer.

1 in 8 men are affected by prostate cancer in the UK, with
a further 1 in 4 black men. That's thousands of dads, grandads, partners,
brothers, sons, uncles and mates. The money raised will fund
essential research into the accurate diagnosis of prostate cancer
along with continued research of treatment options, and provide practical
support to men and their families.

Locally my wife works for Urology Partners, a private practice of 8 consultant surgeons, who specialise in a whole range of urological conditions including the diagnosis of prostate cancer.

In my view the surgeons and staff are utterly amazing and passionate (understatement) in what they do, so I hope my small effort of running 26.2 miles and fundraising can help advance
further research.

Please have a look at their web-site to see how they may be able to help you, your friends and family – Urology conditions don’t stop at
the prostate but include the kidney and bladder
